(PressMediaWire) HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Architect Kurt Dannwolf, president and co-founder of O’Donnell Dannwolf + Partners (ODP), has been selected from among 275 nominees as one of Building Design + Construction’s “40 Under 40” competition winners.
The third annual contest honors 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40 in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction.
As president of ODP, Dannwolf oversees more than $450 million in projects in design or construction throughout Florida and the southeastern United States. As an architect with more than 15 years of experience in high-rise, mixed-use buildings, he has been responsible for the design of approximately 6 million square feet of space on 3 continents, totaling almost $1 billion worth of construction.
Before founding his own firm, Dannwolf worked for two of the country's most prestigious architectural firms in senior level designer and project architect positions.
Most recently, Mr. Dannwolf was a Senior Associate with Gary E. Handel + Associates of New York, where he was the project architect for the Four Seasons Hotel and Tower in Miami. Prior to joining Handel’s office, he worked for Kohn Pedersen and Fox, (KPF), also of New York.
Dannwolf received his Bachelor’s of Architecture at Pratt Institute, where he graduated cum laude. He is also the recipient of the Pratt Circle award for design excellence.
